## Emotional Intelligence Training
Emotional Intelligence Training Outline
Course Overview
G'day! My name is Dr. Marcus Clarkson and I have been supporting businesses in Australia for well over 20 years. One thing I've learnt during my years of consulting for organisations from Perth to Brisbane, is this: the most successful people in the room aren't always the smartest people in the room, they're the people who understand how emotions work.
The Emotional Intelligence Training fills an indispensable gap that I see in Australian workplaces. Far too many skilled individuals who are hired lacks technical skills, rather they are lacking in how they deal with the emotions in the workplace that shape the modern business world. If you're a team leader who dreads those hard conversations, a salesperson who can't seem to click with your clients or someone fatigued by office politics, this training is full of ready to use tools.
It's based on actual workplace situations I've dealt with over my consulting career. We're not talking theory, we're addressing the real, pragmatic scenarios that contribute to stress, miscommunication and lost opportunity in Australian workplaces everyday.

Concluding Remarks
These days, emotional intelligence isn't just a nice to have quality, it's a key skill for anyone who wants to succeed in the increasingly collaborative workplaces of today. You'll walk out more self aware, with better relationship skills and confidence in dealing with nearly any work situation, no matter how awkwardly or effectively. Best of all, you'll have a road map for further emotional intelligence development that will benefit your career for years to come.
By doing so, you make an investment that pays off, not just in terms of general happiness, productivity and well being, but in terms of career currency (a.k.a. skills that come in handy in every position, whether you're dealing with colleagues day to day or on the brink of major leadership opportunities).
